Film to DVD
Cine film is made of many still images called frames. When played in sucession these images give the illusion of movement - movies!
Traditional transfer methods vary, most involve projection and re-filming.
Some methods are better than others but none can compare with scanning each frame into a digital system.
Our film scanners, built in the USA, are used in the US television & DVD industries delivering high definition video from film. Our customers agree, you won't find better in New Zealand. Video tape breaks down with age. Important memories stored on VHS are best backed up to DVD or they could be lost forever. Bring It On Studios convert all consumer video formats to DVD.  Professionally scanned and presented as both high resolution images on CD ROM and a creative animated slideshow on DVD for playback on a TV or PC. Records to CD
Don't have a record player but have a box of records you haven't heard for years? Worried the kids might get hold of your ABBA collection?
We advise checking with record stores to see if your favourites have been re-released on CD but for those impossible to replace classic recordings, children's stories, nostalgic 45's and rare 78's we have the equipment to do them justice. Being a professional recording studio and mastering house to the industry [see our work] you can be sure your records will be treated with the proper care and captured to CD with top quality equipment. Tape to CD
We convert cassette tape and open reel 1/4 inch tape to CD. Audio tape breaks down with age. Important memories stored on tape like family messages, ceremonies or performances are best converted to CD or they could be lost forever. If you have music on tape you'd like on CD we advise checking with record stores to see if your favourites have been re-released on CD but for those impossible to replace classic recordings, children's stories, family messages, recorded events & nostalgia we can help. Quality
Bring It On Studios are digital media specialists, we use latest technology to convert your important memories. It should be noted though that the quality of DVD video and CD audio is entirely dependant on the quality of the original source material. For DVDs, customers should also check their DVD player is compatible with certain DVD discs for playback. Unless otherwise requested we use single layer DVD-R master grade Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim, we have found these discs are compatible with the most players on the market today.
